Average Price For Champions League Final Ticket Is Staggering £272
UEFA have released the prices and allocations for Champions League final tickets and once again it’s got fans in uproar.
The European football governing body revealed that despite the host stadium, Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano, having a 63,500 capacity, only 17,000 tickets have been made available for supporters of the two finalists.
4,000 tickets will be made available to the general public while the remaining 25,500 tickets will go to the “the local organising committee, UEFA and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters” in a move that has widely angered football fans.
It’s not so much of a surprise these days with UEFA, but the price of tickets for the final are also pretty extortionate. The cheapest available tickets will be £60, and the most expensive ticket will be a staggering £513 – pricing out so many working class supporters.
However, it’s now inevitable that a fair amount of the club’s season ticket holders will be left disappointed if their side go to Madrid.
