How Havertz’s debut season compares to Hazard, Fabregas & more

Since Thomas Tuchel arrived at Chelsea, Kai Havertz has moved from the peripheries at Stamford Bridge to a central figure again.

The 21-year-old found himself under instant pressure in West London, arriving with a club-record transfer fee attached to him, and has largely underwhelmed. But under Tuchel he has started the club’s last two games, playing an integral part in their 2-0 win over Everton and also completing 90 minutes against Leeds.

He is the latest in a long line of creative attackers to ply their trade at Stamford Bridge and we’ve looked at how his first season in the Premier League at Chelsea compares to the debut campaigns of Willian, Cesc Fabregas, Oscar, Eden Hazard and Christian Pulisic.
