Son Heung-min is genuinely one of the nicest men in football.

The South Korean forward was unavailable for Tottenham‘s final Premier League game of the season through suspension, but he emerged from the tunnel after the game to carry out a lap of honour.

All the players and staff brought out their children in a traditional end-of-season act.

Son, who appeared to be on his own, was playing the role of babysitter, making kids laugh, smile and just being a top bloke.

The 26-year-old spoke on the pitch about his campaign.

“We’re playing in the best stadium in the world, we’ve got the best training ground in the world and we’re going to play in the Champions League final,” he said following Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Everton on Sunday.

“Everybody’s happy, why wouldn’t you be?”

Son’s had a superb individual season. He’s weighed in with 20 goals in all competitions including his all-important goals against Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final.

Spurs then reached the Champions League final after overturning a three-goal deficit in Amsterdam without Son’s services, though he’ll be available for the Liverpool clash on June 1.

Spurs’ No.7 also swept the board with the club’s post-season awards.

He won ‘Goal of the Season’ for his solo effort against Chelsea and bagged ‘One Hotspur Player of the Season’, ‘One Hotspur Junior Player of the Season’ not to mention ‘Supporters’ Clubs’ Player of the Season’.

After raising a bunch of individual awards, Son has the chance to hold aloft the Champions League when his side face Liverpool in a few weeks.
