Milan Skriniar has been growing as a player ever since his arrival at Inter. The Slovakian is establishing himself as one of the best in Italy and Europe. He is a big, strong defender who is known to be able to block anyone in his way. The 23-year-old’s great performances have attracted interest from top clubs including Manchester United, who got a €75 million bid rejected. The Nerazzurri will try their very best to pin one of their star men to the club.

Skriniar arrived at Inter from Sampdoria for €34 million. The defender proved himself in the city of Genoa, though the signing was still a risk. It proved successful as he became one of the best players in the blue side of Milan, he’s certainly one of the best in the league.

According to FC Inter News, contract talks between Skriniar and the club have already begun. No agreement is yet to be struck, the central defender demands €3.5 million a season while Inter is willing to pay only €2.7 million. The club is expected to raise the offer to meet the player’s demands, they will certainly do everything they can to get the Slovak’s signature.

Skriniar has made 52 appearances for Inter, permanently engraving himself in the regular starting eleven. So far this season, he averages a 7.11 rating every league game as well as two tackles per match. His contract extension would be positive for both party’s, especially Inter.

The historical club’s climb back to the top is under progression. The very best are needed, Skriniar has a positive impact on the squad and will continue to do so in the future. Still young, the former Sampdoria man has time on his side, he will continue improving and can become one of the best defenders in the world.
