Luis Suárez Mocks Sergio Reguilón For Crying During El Clásico
Luis Suárez was brutal towards Sergio Reguilón after he mocked him for crying in Real Madrid‘s El Clásico defeat on Wednesday.
The Barcelona striker was spotted making a crying gesture at the 22-year-old Madrid left-back after their subsequent match on Saturday.
Talk about being savage in one of the world’s biggest rivalries, eh?
The match ended in a 1-0 victory for Barça, with Ivan Rakitić scoring the winner for his side.
With the tensions raised for the El Clásico encounter, it wasn’t without its other dramas.
Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi had a heated confrontation after the Madrid captain elbowed the Barcelona skipper in the first half.
While Clément Lenglet and Marc-André ter Stegen offered the 32-year-old Spanish centre-back a taste of his own medicine in the second half, Gareth Bale was booed off the pitch by the Madrid fans.
Barcelona have moved 12 points clears of Los Blancos following the El Clásico win, but manager Ernesto Valverde has refused to rule his arch-rivals out of the La Liga title picture.
“We still have a whole world in front of us. We know Madrid can win a lot of consecutive games, Atlético Madrid are still there, too,” he said in his post-match press conference.
“Until [the title is] mathematically secure, we will keep battling.
“We respect our rivals, like they do to us. You have to keep fighting, if you think about it, you start losing.
“Madrid are there, there are many days left and we have to foresee that Madrid will recover and will cut our lead.
“You always look at second place, and also Atlético are a very solid team, but there is a lot of the league left.”
