Man Utd Fan's Reaction To Marcus Rashford Stepping Up For Free Kick
Marcus Rashford’s conversion rate from free-kicks this season is far from impressive and as a result, many Manchester United fans are growing tired of his poor attempts from range.
He began to receive real backlash in their Champions League tie against Barcelona, when he fired over several times in both home and away legs.
And despite having the likes of Juan Mata and Paul Pogba on the pitch against Chelsea this weekend, the Wythenshawe-born Rashford was once again slated after being given first dibs.
He failed to test goalkeeper Kepa from a decent set of opportunities, even with that Cristiano Ronaldo-like stance.
To be fair to United fans, Old Trafford were rather encouraging about his lacklustre attempts, but many spotted the one supporter who couldn’t contain her disappointment when Rashford decided to step up…again.
Check out the woman in the white hoodie.
The likes of Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba surrounded the ball and the woman looked straight at the trio, presumably hopeful.
But when she realised that the 21-year-old was taking charge of the situation, the fan quickly made her feelings known.
It was a real facepalm moment.
This Manchester United fan wasn’t the only person to express their displeasure at Rashford taking set pieces, and many took to social media both during and after the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Do Manchester United need to find another free-kick ‘specialist’? And who should it be?
