McGregor Tweets Epic Message To United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Looks like Conor McGregor is a big fan of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The UFC mega-star Tweeted his admiration for Manchester United‘s caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who guided his side to their eighth consecutive victory since his appointment.
“Ole Gunnar Solskjær is a special man! The Man United Super Sub. Player AND Manager. Insane! You can feel the passion he has for his club and it’s history. Beaming with pride as he vividly explains the teams amazing counter attacking ability over the years. Past and present! Wow!”
Conor McGregor’s a big red!
The club have since responded.
There were some confusion over who he supported but he revealed if you pushed him, he’d say Manchester United.
“I was big into football as a kid, but more as a player than a watcher,” he said.
“I suppose if you pushed me I would say Manchester United, but that’s only because it gets passed down from generation to generation.
“I think just about everyone in Ireland is either a Liverpool or United fan. But some people go a little weird, referring to the team they support as ‘we’.
“To me that’s a little crazy. I admire their athleticism and their dedication. Ronaldo is a phenomenal athlete. His speed, his takeoff from a standing start and his ability to operate at high speeds are impressive.”
Anyway, Solskjaer continues to produce managerial brilliance. He secured United a spot in the next round of the FA Cup after dumping out Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all bagged at the Emirates
United, meanwhile, resume their Premier League campaign next Tuesday against Burnley.
