James Milner left a post-match interview in the best possible way following Liverpool‘s 1-1 draw with West Ham.

For the second game running, Jurgen Klopp’s table-toppers dropped points after scoring early on through Sadio Mane – with their underwhelming performance leading many to believe they are finally feeling the pressure of the title race.

In the mixed zone at the London Stadium, Milner was asked whether he was concerned after taking two points out of a possible six in the last week and gave a brilliant response to end the interview.

“Concerned being top of the league in February? No I’m happy. Thank you,” the Liverpool No.7 commented before finishing up and walking off.

The journalist got shut down big-time and you can see why Liverpool fans are loving it.

Milner won two Premier League titles with City, the club he is now vying to pip to this year’s crown, while he was also relegated with his beloved Leeds United in the early days of his career.

And he says the tussle with City, which he expects to feature a few more twists before the season is done, is an enjoyable one compared to the experience of being in a relegation dogfight.

“These are the times you should be enjoying,” Milner told reporters, as per the Daily Mail.

“There’s a long way to go and a lot can happen. It wouldn’t surprise me if the lead changes hands a couple of times before the end of the season.

‘We’ve just got to take care of our business. The last couple of games we haven’t played well but we’re still picking up points. That’s the positive side – we’re not losing games. There is plenty we can improve on, which is nice to know.

“We just want to concentrate on our games. Playing for relegation and livelihoods and people’s jobs, that’s pressure. Being at the top of the table, we should be enjoying it. We are clear at the top of the league in February. Concerned? I’m happy!”
