Ramos Asks Real Madrid To Let Him Go On A Free Transfer To China
Sergio Ramos has asked Real Madrid to allow him to leave on a free transfer to China according to multiple reports from Spain.
The veteran defender remains subject to intense transfer speculation with reports linking him with a move away from Madrid, following his dressing room bust-up with club president Florentino Perez.
And fresh reports now claim the 33-year-old has informed the club of an ‘economic offer’ from a Chinese team.
He held a meeting with Perez to discuss a potential transfer. His brother and agent, Rene, and his lawyer Julio Senn were also present.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Reds are not interested in signing the Real Madrid captain and they made a bold claim that they wouldn’t even sign him if he was available on a free.
“There is 0.0 per cent chance of Sergio Ramos playing for Liverpool,” the source told the newspaper.
“It has nothing to do with what happened in Kiev last season.
“Even if we had won the Champions League final and Ramos had shook the hand of every Liverpool player afterwards, we would still have no interest in him.
“Ramos just doesn’t fit the kind of profile that Jürgen Klopp is looking for.
“We wouldn’t even sign him if he was available on a free.”
