Dancing On Ice came to an end on Sunday night – a week earlier than originally planned.

However, some fans of the show took to social media to complain after they felt their was a lacklustre’ problem with this year’s final.

“Non of these feel like Final routines. Maybe week 3 or 4 but not finals. #dancingonice,” tweeted one.

Another complained: “Are we watching the final of #DancingOnIce. Is it me or has it been a slow start. Bring back Ray Quinn and speed.”

“These ARE the most lacklustre routines I have ever seen in a final. #DancingOnIce,” a third added.

A fourth said: “1 year ago @perrikiely was doing backflips on ice, and these lot are faffing about with eggs and frying pans! Wtf is going on. #DancingOnIce.”

“For the final the choreography for these routines have not been up to scratch, I’m actually bored watching #DancingOnIce,” another said.
