Good Morning Britain viewers found themselves questioning if the show is live after spotting a detail during an interview with Lawrence Okolie.
Kate Garraway and Adil Ray chatted to the champion boxer on Wednesday’s edition of the ITV news programme.
Lawrence, 28, appeared via video link from his home to chat about his incredible journey which saw him go from overweight McDonalds worker to Olympic athlete.
The sportsman is still basking in glory of his WBO cruiserweight win last month where he got one better of Krzysztof Glowacki.
But while watching and listening to his inspiring story, eagle-eyed GMB viewers were left distracted due to the clock hanging on his wall in the back of the shot.
Fans noticed the time appeared to be ahead of that which was shown on the screen of the show
This led some to believe the show may not be live.
“His clock is 10 mins fast or this ain’t live #gmb,” tweeted one viewer.
Another said: “TV Of the Future right there… @GMB why is it 8.21 in Lawrence’s’ Bedroom clock on LIVE TV??”
“Maybe Lawrence hates being late,” a third joked.
A fourth added: “Yes we all know his clock is fast. Do you think he hasn’t got a reason for this and doesn’t know!? #GMB.”
For those wondering, the show is live, so maybe Lawrence is working on being ten minutes early to wherever he was off to next.
Lawrence explained on the show how he was inspired to take up boxing by Anthony Joshua during his appearance at the 2012 Olympics in London.
Fast forward four years and he himself was competing at the 2016 Olympics in Rio for Team GB.
Lawrence has now released his own biography, Dare To Change Your Life.
He said on GMB: “Ultimately I don’t feel like there’s anything particularly special about me I wasn’t the athletic kid like ‘he’s always going to be something’ so I just hope the lessons in the book inspire someone to go on and do something great.”
