Officers were called to Slate Drive before 1pm on Friday, over a welfare concern. After entering the property they found the two bodies who were declared deceased.
Police have launched an inquiry into the circumstances of the two deaths, and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Joe Banfield, the senior investigating officer, said: “Following this tragic discovery, we are working at pace to establish what has happened and are asking anyone who believes they may be able to help us to get in touch as soon as possible.
“I know many people will be concerned about this incident, and I would like to offer our reassurance that we have a large number of officers dedicated to our investigation.”
An investigation into the incident has been launched by Northamptonshire Police’s Major Crime Team.

Post mortem examinations on the two bodies will be conducted over the weekend.
Anyone with information, including “CCTV and smart doorbell footage from the surrounding area”, is urged to get in touch.

In a statement Northamptonshire Police said: “Detectives have launched a major enquiry after the bodies of two people were found at a home in Kettering.
“Officers from Northamptonshire Police were called to a property in Slate Drive shortly before 1pm today, Friday, August 27, over a concern for welfare.
“Inside they found the bodies of a woman and a man, who were both sadly confirmed deceased at the scene.
“Officers from the Force’s Major Crime Team have now launched an investigation into the circumstances of the two deaths and are appealing for anyone with relevant information, including CCTV and smart doorbell footage from the surrounding area, to get in touch.”
