Andrew Morton told ITV’s Good Morning Britain that Princess Diana would be enjoying the aftermath of Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey. Oprah With Meghan and Harry is on ITV at 9pm on Monday March 8. You can watch the full interview afterwards on the ITV Hub.
Piers Morgan asked: “What would Diana make of this, surely she would not be enjoying any of this?”
Mr Morton replied: “I think the irony is she would be enjoying it.
“It is almost like Diana is getting her revenge from beyond the grave.
“Remember that she was the trailblazer in this, she put the boot into Prince Charles 20 odd years ago.

“She talked about wanting to be the Queen of people’s hearts, which prompted the Queen to get involved with their divorce.”
Mr Morgan said: “She would not want William and Harry at war, they did not talk at the moment.
“I know for a fact that they are not talking.”
Mr Morton responded: “She would want William and Harry to reconcile.

“Remember she was actually thinking of moving to Malibu.
“Also, Oprah was going to interview her and then Martin Bashir swooped in.”

Mr Morgan said: “The Queen must be worried sick about her husband.
“The Queen and Prince Philip have worked so hard for seven decades now to preserve the monarchy.
“In two hours Prince Harry has allowed his wife to trash everything they stand for.
“I just do not get what he is thinking.”
