Manchester United players darted towards their away fans when the final whistle finally went in the Parc des Princes on Wednesday, but Romelu Lukaku took time to console Presnel Kimpembe in a wonderful moment.
United’s No.9 was seen giving the Frenchman words of encouragement after the Frenchman’s last-gasp handball ultimately cost his side.
Although Lukaku cupped his mouth so that the conversation could remain private but RMC Sport have picked it up on what the Belgian striker said to the 23-year old.
“That’s it, this is the nature of football,” Lukaku told Kimpembe. “There are times when you learn, even if you’re world champion.”
