Neville And Carragher Walk Away From Kelly Cates In Bizarre Interview
Kelly Cates has responded to last night’s bizarre exchange with Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher on ‘Friday Night Football’.
During the build-up to Southampton vs. Liverpool, Cates talked up Saints boss Ralph Hasenhüttl with Neville and Carragher casually walking away from her in a very strange and awkward sequence.
What the hell happened there?!
The Sky Sports presenter has since taken to social media to comment on the situation.
“They were going to interview Hasenhuttl in the tunnel! Would have looked weird if they didn’t have anything to say I the way there,” she posted on Twitter this morning.
Naturally, Cates’ odd interaction with Neville and Carragher sent social media into overdrive. Here’s some reaction:
Anyway, Liverpool returned to the summit of the Premier League after beating Southampton 3-1 at St Mary’s. They came from behind with Naby Keita, Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson all getting on the score-sheet.
