Marcelo Bielsa has been somewhat of a revelation since taking the Leeds job in June last year.

The Whites have been in scintillating form of late.

United currently sit top of the Championship ladder after a late goal from Kalvin Philipps sealed an important point against Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon, and promotion is very much on the agenda.

It has been a promising campaign for the club and Bielsa’s methods are undoubtably a huge reason behind the club’s success this season.

But a recent report might just be of concern to Leeds fans.

The Mirror claim that Everton could swoop for Bielsa in the near future, with the former Marseille and Lazio manager being “highly regarded” by the Premier League side.

The 63-year-old would be seen as a replacement for current boss Marco Silva, who has struggled to make his mark on The Toffees since taking over last year.

Everton have lost five of their past six matches with Silva at the helm.

Bielsa hit the headlines last month when he admitted he’d spied on every Championship opposition this season.

Ahead of the game against Derby County earlier this year, Bielsa admitted that he’d spied on Frank Lampard’s Derby County side before the match, with ‘Spy Gate’ being born as a result.

Clearly that hasn’t deterred Everton and if Marco Silva is giving his marching order, the club may just make a move for the experienced manager.

Do you think this would be a good move for Everton and Marco Bielsa?
