Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero had some strong choice of words for a Roma fan after they posted a message calling out the I Blucerchiati fans.

The Italian side suffered a 1-0 loss to Claudio Ranieri’s men at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Saturday, but it would seem that Twitter user FABIO TRP ASR wanted to make the message loud and clear to Sampdoria supporters.

“We won today, some of the players were running, hopefully they woke up…” FABIO TRP ASR wrote.

“PS: Sampodiano fan worth two cents, learn to be a proper fan, if you must insult and mock, do it when you’re winning, not when it’s 0-0. SAMPDORIA MERDA. @unavitadacinema [Massimo Ferrero], get on my d**k. #sampdoriaROMA.”

Considering that the Roma fan tagged the Sampdoria president in the tweet, it’s not like the message went unnoticed.

In fact, the 67-year-old Italian responded to the initial tweet and didn’t hold back in what he had to say to the Roma fan.

“Your d**k is so little I can’t even see it, so I can’t hop on it,” he wrote.

“But if you want, you can get on mine. Wash your mouth before talking about Sampdoria fans. Love you.”

Well, well. That really did escalate between the pair!

Daniele De Rossi scored the winner in the second half, though VAR was called into action to check and see if the Roma star was offside.

“When you celebrate a goal nowadays, you are always thinking to yourself, ‘Will I look like an idiot if they disallow it?'” he told Roma TV and DAZN.

“But I welcome these instruments, which eliminated a lot of injustice and controversy. We kept the celebrations a little contained, as we were afraid it might be offside.

“We might not be playing the way we want to yet, but if we give our all, it’s difficult for anyone to face Roma.

“When you don’t have time to get your tactics smooth and spot on, you have to make up for it with determination and aggression.”

Roma are sixth in Serie A and are level on points with fifth-placed Atalanta, but they are only one point behind fourth-placed AC Milan after Gennaro Gattuso’s men suffered a 2-1 defeat to Juventus on Saturday.

Will Roma finish in the top four this season?
