Scott Brown Gives The Most Sarcastic Post-Match Interview

Scott Brown Gives The Most Sarcastic Post-Match Interview - FootyNews.co.uk

Celtic skipper Scott Brown helped guide his side to a crucial win over bitter rivals Rangers this afternoon – and then proceeded to troll several of their players during his post-match interview.

The 33-year-old holding midfielder was close to his best in today’s 2-1 victory for the Hoops at Celtic Park and, perhaps unsurprisingly, found himself at the centre of controversy on several occasions.

The first of which came just before the half-hour mark when Alfredo Morelos lashed out at Brown and was shown a straight red card.

Brown was once again targeted by Ryan Kent later in the game, although the winger wasn’t punished by referee Bobby Madden.

And whilst we all know Brown is capable of winding-up his opponents on the park, it seems he’s quite capable of doing it when he talks to the media too.

Just check out his post-match interview:

Alfredo Morelos received his fifth red card of the season on Sunday afternoon as Celtic went 13 points ahead of rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title race.

The fact that three of those red cards have come in the first half of games says everything you need to know about the Colombian forward’s lack of discipline.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has defended Morelos in the past for these confrontations.

But surely even he must be fuming after the club’s top scorer elbowed Scott Brown in the Old Firm this afternoon.

Brown, who was spotted laughing at the striker as he departed the field, looked on as cameras quickly panned towards Gerrard.

As you can see in the following pictures, the former Liverpool midfielder could only put his head to his hands as Rangers went down to 10 men.

Thoughts on Scott Brown’s antics against Rangers on Sunday afternoon?
