Supercomputer Predicts Juventus Will Win The Champions League

Manchester City won’t win the quadruple this season. That’s the opinion of one piece of technology with a Supercomputer predicting that Juventus will beat Barcelona in the final of the Champions League.

Once upon a time we looked towards the future and thought ‘I wonder if we’ll have flying cars and will Star Trek technology allow me to just imagine what meal I want and it’ll just be there?’ but alas no, we are still waiting.

Instead what we’ve got is the feted supercomputer. I’m not sure anyone has ever seen a supercomputer or knows what makes it different to a normal computer but it seems they can tell the future and predict what will happen. Not that it helps work out what will end mankind’s existence but it seems to know the future of football.

Just this week the great oracle of technology looked into the future to predict that Manchester City would beat Liverpool to the Premier League title. What you waiting for, bet your savings on it (gamble responsibly).

Now, via talkSPORT, the supercomputer is back at it and has predicted that Juventus will beat Barcelona in the Champions League in May. This is how all the games will play out:

Champions League quarter finals:

Ajax 1-1 Juventus, Juventus 2-0 Ajax; Juventus win 3-1 on aggregate.

Liverpool 3-0 Porto, Porto 1-2 Liverpool; Liverpool win 5-1.

Spurs 1-1 Manchester City, Manchester City 3-1 Spurs; Manchester City win 4-2.

Manchester United 1-2 Barcelona, Barcelona 2-1 Manchester United; Barcelona win 4-2.

Champions League semi finals:

Manchester City 1-1 Juventus, Juventus 2-1 Manchester City; Juventus win 3-2.

Barcelona 2-1 Liverpool, Liverpool 2-2 Barcelona; Barcelona win 4-3.

Champions League final:

Juventus 2-1 Barcelona.

That result will mean that Cristiano Ronaldo’s side will be beating Lionel Messi’s in the final and all the debates are going to start up again.

In fairness to the former Real Madrid striker he would become just the second player, after Clarence Seedorf, to win the Champions League with three different clubs.

It will also mean that he will have succeeded in exactly the reason the Old Lady bought him for over £90 million last summer as they haven’t won the title since 1996, having lost the final several times since.

The supercomputer has said this will happen so it must be true. Either that or the supercomputer is just a bloke making a prediction and pretending to be a piece of technology, who can be sure.
